Routinity Terms of Service
IMPORTANT: PLEASE READ THESE TERMS CAREFULLY. BY USING ROUTINITY, YOU AGREE TO BE BOUND BY THESE TERMS.
1. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS
By using Routinity, you confirm that:
- You are at least 14 years of age
- You have read and agree to these Terms
- You have read our Privacy Policy
- You have legal capacity to enter this agreement
2. DESCRIPTION OF SERVICE
2.1 What Routinity Does
Routinity is a cognitive reset application that helps users manage emotional states and improve focus through structured micro-routines.
2.2 Medical Disclaimer
ROUTINITY IS NOT A MEDICAL DEVICE, MENTAL HEALTH TREATMENT, OR SUBSTITUTE FOR PROFESSIONAL MEDICAL OR PSYCHOLOGICAL CARE.
- Routines are for general wellness purposes only
- We make NO medical claims
- Effectiveness varies between individuals
- If you are experiencing a mental health crisis, contact emergency services immediately
- Do not use Routinity as a substitute for professional medical treatment
2.3 Service Availability
- 99% uptime target, not guaranteed
- Scheduled maintenance: Prior notice provided
- Emergency maintenance: Post-incident notice
3. USER ACCOUNTS
3.1 Account Requirements
- Valid Google account or Apple ID (Sign in with Apple) required
- Accurate information required
- One account per person
- Account sharing prohibited
- Account transfer prohibited
3.2 Account Security
- You are responsible for maintaining account confidentiality
- Notify us immediately of unauthorized access: routinity.app@gmail.com
- We are not liable for damages from unauthorized Google or Apple account access
3.3 Inactive Accounts
Accounts inactive for 24+ months may be suspended. 30 days advance notice will be provided.
4. USER OBLIGATIONS
4.1 Permitted Use
Personal, non-commercial wellness purposes only.
4.2 Prohibited Conduct
You must NOT:
- Use the Service for illegal purposes
- Hack, disrupt, or damage the Service
- Use automated tools, bots, or scripts
- Access other users' accounts
- Reproduce or sell Service content
- Reverse engineer the application
- Defame or disparage the Service through screenshots, recordings, or any media
- Misrepresent your identity or age
- Violate applicable laws
5. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
5.1 Our Rights
All content and routines in Routinity are independently developed based on publicly available cognitive and behavioral science principles. All content is protected by copyright, trademark, and trade secret laws.
5.2 Your Rights
You retain ownership of your personal data. You grant us limited license to:
- Store and process your data for the Service
- Use anonymized aggregate data for research
- Display your data within the Service
6. ACCOUNT SUSPENSION AND TERMINATION
6.1 Warning System
- Minor violations: Written warning
- Repeated violations: Temporary suspension (7 days notice)
- Serious violations: Permanent suspension
6.2 Immediate Suspension (No Notice Required)
- Hacking or unauthorized access attempts
- Fraudulent activity
- Illegal conduct
- Endangering other users
6.3 Termination by You

Processing: Within 10 business days
Effect: All data permanently deleted, cannot be undone
Acknowledgment email sent upon request receipt
Completion email sent upon deletion
6.4 Service Discontinuation
30 days advance notice
Data download period provided
All data permanently deleted
7. PRICING AND FUTURE PAID FEATURES
- Current Service is completely free
- If paid features are introduced:
- 30 days advance notice
- Existing free features protected during transition
- No forced payment or automatic billing
- Explicit consent required before any charge
8. DISCLAIMERS
8.1 Service Provided "As Is"
No warranties of any kind, express or implied.
8.2 Mental Health Disclaimer
We are NOT responsible for:
- Any mental health outcomes from using the Service
- Reliance on the Service as a substitute for professional treatment
- Any decisions made based on routine outcomes
- Worsening of any mental health condition
8.3 Third-Party Services
Not responsible for Google OAuth, Sign in with Apple, or Supabase disruptions.
9. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- Total liability shall not exceed amounts paid in past 12 months (currently $0)
- Not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
- Not liable for loss of data or profits
- Force majeure events excluded
10. INDEMNIFICATION
You agree to indemnify us from claims arising from:
- Your violation of these Terms
- Your use of the Service
- Your violation of third-party rights
- Your violation of applicable law
- Your provision of false age information
11. DISPUTE RESOLUTION
11.1 Initial Resolution

11.2 Mediation
Korea Consumer Agency (한국소비자원)
11.3 Litigation
Governing Law: Republic of Korea
Jurisdiction: Seoul Central District Court
Language: In case of conflict between Korean and English versions, the Korean version shall prevail.
12. SEVERABILITY
Invalid provisions do not affect remaining Terms.
13. CHANGES TO TERMS
Version tracked and dated.
- Material changes: 7 days advance notice
- Email delivery records maintained as evidence.
- Notice deemed delivered upon email transmission.
- Continued use = acceptance of new Terms.
14. ENTIRE AGREEMENT
These Terms and Privacy Policy constitute the entire agreement between you and Routinity.
